If it comes back, call all the local car places and see who will do it for free. Or cheat, and go buy a ODBII scanner, and return it after you get the code.

**UPDATE*** (well kinda)
Okay before going out and paying money, I just reset the ECU. It worked for 5 days, it turned on yesterday while I was on the highway. This was the same place I was last time minus the rain. Now it is definitely something with the engine. I have noticed the cut out for the exhaust is pretty black.
If the car runs rich/lean, does that throw a CEL. I gotta go check this out.

At first I thought maybe your CEL light came on cause it was wet and rainy out cause sometimes they throw on the CEL when wires and stuff under the bonnet get wet.

Is black smoke coming out of the exhaust?

See that's what I thought too. It's been a week since it's rained last. Been a little cold, but nothing out of the ordinary.
No, black smoke is not coming out. It almost looks like a dirty film. Well come to think of it I can't really tell if there is smoke or not. I can't see it while I'm driving, so that's a good thing I guess.

Well we don't have those up here yet.
or I would Canadian Tire is about the same but they want $45. I was going to track sown an OBDII scanner but I tried the reset first hoping it was just a water thing. WRONG. Will get around to it this week sometime, tough work schedule coming up.

I guarantee there is a parts chain in Canadia that does it for free. Almost ALL of them down here do.
CALL SOME OF THE STORES UP AND SEE WHO DOES IT FOR FREE!!!
Get your 02 Sensors checked.
You got headers or exhaust work?
