Hey!!!

I contacted AEM about their CAI. They only have a CAI that applies to Tiburon's up to 2007. I havea 2008 tiburon GT V6 2.7L F/I. When I contacted AEM about this they said they could not recommend it because there could have been software changes to the engine from 2007 to 2008. Does ANYONE have any experience with this? Does anyone know if the AEM CAI for the 2007 model 2.7LV6 GT Engine has any problems or causes any code errors when applied to the 2008 Tiburon GT V6 FI 2.7L?

will be exactly the same from 2007 to 2008.. it will work, but only spend money on AEM if you like throwing money away..



another thought, you could buy the 'aem' from me, and ill get you a clone with an AEM sticker for 10$ under the cheapest AEM price.. LOL

Thanks Turbosocks! I appreciate it! Do you know if there is any difference in the ECU's from 2007 to 2008? Or any change in the software that would cause a fault code to come up in the computer?

I am nervous about going the ebay route because I am not sure what type of piping I would need mainly the design and angles that would be the same style as the AEM which is why I don't do it the way you suggest.

Otherwise if I was savvy enough and knew what I was doing I would definitely take you up on your advice!
