Sound deadened my entire hatch for only $30
I bought this roll truck bed liner stuff at advanced auto

I did my entire hatch (floor, sides, under the hatch itself, etc). I let it dry, applied a 2nd coat, let it dry, put everything back together, and went out for a ride with no music. It made a HUGE difference. When I turn the music on, I get no rattles at all in the hatch from the subs. Best $30 I ever spent, and I still have half a can left. I plan on doing the inside of the door skins (being careful not to get it on any of the moving parts) and behind the rear speaker panels.

What makes this better than dynamat? How long did it take? Got any pics? I need to do this BADLY. EVERYTHING RATTLES BACK THERE! And I don't even have subs. It's just from my suspension/road noise/exhaust. But I don't really know where to start..

Not necessarily better, but way more affordable, and once it's on and hardened, there's no chance of it melting or peeling off.

seems to be a good alternative. Mats are harder to place in these round areas.
on the pics though!
Was the difference most apparant with the noises from the wheels/tires?
What rattles did you have? Kinda strange that they just disappear after deadening the metal areas compared to uncoupling the interior. Please elaborate
But thumbs up for the suggestion!
