Trunk lips
I want a trunk/hatch lip on my car, because I hate spoilers. Problem Im having is finding a decent lip for it. Do you think if I just get a piece of foam, shape it, cover it in fiberglass, paint and attach it to the hatch, it will last and not fly off or get chipped up easily?
I kind of want one like this

the RD kind of has a 'built in' hatch lip.
you could do the foam/FG route, but depending on how its prepped and painted, it could chip easily. also the 'flying off' will depend on how you mount it.
i had the idea once to use a cavalier donor low spoiler for an idea like that, but scrapped it because i didn't feel like doing the work.
here is a small polyurethane one that should flex to adapt to almost any car, but its VERY subtle.
