idk about a converter.... You can get a new deck on ebay or at circuit city that has RCA out's for less than 100 bucks. I'm sure.

You need a PREAMP Output. Our decks don't have them. (Well, my Double-DIN Stock CD/TAPE/RADIO deck didn't.) (RD2)

Yeah, you either need a hi to lo level converter,or an amp that accepts hi level input. If you go with the later, the only draw back is that you won't be able to use processors/eq's etc.

my radio that came with my tibby was a clarion, and it had RCA's out on the back, but that radio was part of the SE package that came on my canadain tib.

Well, anybody got a stereo that looks and fits the same as stock. I've looked on carsound domain and just found the the cd players, and I want the cd/ tape player that has the rca cables coming out of the back.

Wasn't there someone on here selling a deck a while back. Check the For Sale forum.

hehe, very true, I'd really suggest a pioneer 740mp, <100 now (it's an older model), plays cd's, mp3 cd's, xm input. I've loved mine laugh.gif

edit: btw my suggestion is if you have a ton of tapes you wanna play or something then just get a deck with mp3, get limewire and download all your tapes and burn em to cd.... hehe hope you have broadband. that way is of course perfectly legal if you own the original tape still. laugh.gif
