First of all - check tires pressure.

If that not help - you need to do a wheel alignment.

This could be a number of things.. some cheap to fix, some expensive.

Start with your tire pressures, one lower than the other can cause a pull

Could be tierod ends. Those are cheap from the dealer, but you will need a re-alignment after replacing it.

Also check your bushings on the suspension. A bad or mushy bushing could change the alignment. Does the car straighten out some when you apply throttle? How about when you back off?

If all of the above fail, check your brakes for a dragging caliper. A drag can pull the wheel to one side. A good indicator is the wheel goes straight when you apply the brakes and the drag equalizes.

Above all else, check on a level surface and in a controlled enviroment where you won't have any problems with other cars or the police.

Now one thing everyone forgot to ask is that when you took your hands off the wheel were you still giving it gas/braking or were you off all of the pedals? That would make it alot easier to explain/fix.
