...i'd like to have some info about any Platinum or Iridium Spark Plugs.

I know what Platinum and/or iridium is used for, but the questions is:
Did you noticed any real sensible changes after putting those spark plugs instead of the oem ones ?

i never had problems with the stock ones (NGK)... so i'm oriented to get again the regular NGK.. (and most of all: 4 regular ngk here = nearly 30US$ :? , 4 iridium ones nearly 90US$ 8O )

copper wears out quickly and doesn't perform as well after 5k mi. or so. if you want to have the best spark then you should change copper plugs often. for $2.42 a plug you can definitely let yourself change them every oil change.

yes. exactly what i was guessing.. the better work is always given by a normal copper plug changed, at last, every 2 time the oil..

I understand that platinum electrode may last longer (but i think from the half of its life to the end, the platinum will work worse the a new copper one)
..and the iridum is used for a higher fusion grade point, a better starting and all the rest..

Even if those plugs last longer or give more porformance (better spark=better combustion=less remaining/dust on the valves an so on) do you think they worth the money or not ?

i think someone will be able to notice real difference only in high modded car, when you have ibg turbo or supercharger fitted, or where you have already upgraded your ignition (the coil and all the rest) so you *need* a better spark plug because the engine is three time stressed than a normal one (like mine)

I run bosch platinum plus 4s.. I change them every 25,000 miles. Most of them time they barely look used.

Ug I uesed the Bosch Plat +4s and HATED them. They high speed glaze very quickly. Recently I have splurged and gotten the NGK Iradium IX. Luckily I got these from online and instead of $11+ each I got all 4 for $28 shipped. I LOVE them. They are by far the nicest pluggs I have used thus far. I have had them about 10k miles and have noticed no glazzing or anything. I usually pull them each oil change and just check them and so far so good.

I run NGK Copper stockers and I am s/c'd. They ran better than platnums that I had. I have had the coppers on it for 5000 miles. Copper does not where out faster where did you guys here that from. To me something that is not plated will last a lot longer.
