Interesting smile.gif I believe you get CEL because our ECU's only allow 7 degree timing either way. You are using beta1 ECU, right?

I wired it exactly like that, and I got a CEL almost immediately after I started driving. I didn't try adjusting timing, so I don't know if I could or not. But you say it works when wired to the crankshaft sensor like in the image? Do you have both wired up or just 1?

 

were your settings for timing at 0?
