I second the Crank Position Sensor. I actually had a similar problem when I was first installing the Haltech. And the Haltech has much better filtration then the Megasquirt! I know for a fact that koreancorvette benefited greatly from that 10k resistor. Good idea man!

Sounds electrical/computer, not mechanical. Get that crank sensor and TPS changed, and if you havent done a tune up for a while, just do that as well. New wires and plugs.

question for you iheartmyRD. Did you notice and significant change in the low end of the rpm range with the grooves ? I have read alot on this and it seems sohc engines have more to gain from this mod but being a possible knock killer and me being turbo-ed I'm extremely curious as to what you have experienced. Or anyone else that has done this thats turbo-ed.

ps sorry if this is a possible hijacking. I think its still kind of relative.

Bal has a supercharger and it got rid of detonation that had previously killed a piston for him. There are few enough people with RDs who have grooved heads that you will probably not get much *first-hand* responses.

If you want to donate a couple hunnert $ to the cause, I can get my own N/A setup done, then I'll make a testimonial thread just for you wink1.gif
