One quick question..... Why do you have a setting at 7k and 7600? Our cars redline at 6500 and the rev limiter hits at 6700?

Default Re: couple intercooler questions

Exactly thats the reason that I want help on my numbers....

You are right, my REDLINE is 6700 RPM, I know it thanks to my SAFC2....
I told this to the "Tuner Guy" who install my SAFC.... playing with it, I realize that he put 7000 RPM and 7600..... I can Understand 7000 but I think that is really unnecessary the 7600 because its useless.... 02.gif 02.gif

tiburonwao,
your "tuner guy" was lazy a bit that's all
just change the NE point to some that are whitin your rpm range
say 1000 to 6800

next put the setting ultra tibby gave here
Sensor Type: Hotwire
In: 01 Out: 01
TPS: Arrow pointing up and right

low throttle point should be set quite high around 90%
high throttle setting should be set at around 95%

reason for this, our OBD2 cars will learn to compensate for the tuning you did at low and mid throttle and will bring it back to the "ideal" 14.7 A/F ratio
so basicly it will cancel the "tuning"you did,the only time you would want to use 30% and such numbers for the low throttle point is when you're using larger injector so you can cheat the ECU

your low throttle setting should be all at 0%
high setting will vary from car to car
when i had the safc on my car with "popular" N/A bolt ons i was running around -13% at 6800 to get an A/F of 13.5

here's a setting map that was floating around a while ago
1000 0%
2000 +1%
3000 -3%
4000 -6%
5000 -8%
5500 -9%
6000 -11%
6500 -14%

mine looked similar that that one,
be aware it might not be the best settings for your car/mods and your geographic location, but can be used for a base map on a N/A car

Agarwal software won't tell you if your safc map is right or wrong for your car ,it will help you understand how the safc does the correction (especially between the throttle points)
Hey, he made that software after we were arguing on how it was doing the correction

Thats close to what I saw someone post over at HP a while ago. Once I get mine installed I will probably give those a shot until I can get it tuned. Just remember Wao that your sensor settings will be different than ours (Hotwire 01/01) because we are running MAF's and not MAP's. But the other settings should be the same regardless for a base setup.

If he's running a MAP sensor then the corrections settings won't be the same for sure,

he will have to use pressure sensor instead of hot wire setting

I'm almost sure that his car isn't OBD2 so he should be able to cheat the EC ua bit more then us with US and canadian spec cars

tiburonWao, got or have acces to a spare ECU ?

Spare ECU??? I think not.....

When I was looking for a DYNO SOftware from Digimoto, they told me that my car is an OBD2....

What is the difference of pressure sensor instead of hot wire setting???

And 2bits You'll need the Microsoft .NET Framework to use this software... try to download first....

I need an Air/Fuel Gauge urgently...... would be easy to put the correction of the SAFC2.....
