could the ecu, also be called the engine control module. Thats all I found remotly close to an ecu on there, but hey i'll keep lookin later, but now its time 4 a ice cold beer. 8) , but hey dweet damn good idear.

yeah the ECU can be called the ECM as well. Depends whoever you talk to.

webtech my friend, is not a joke at all, as long as its user is capable of operating it. wink.gif

pin #47 coming off the ecu. should be a white wire.


ecu is located where #12 points to in this pic...


you will probably have to calibrate the tachometer though, using dipswitches or something on the back of it.

ok, ok , ya'll got me webtech is not a joke. Well so how do I connect it to the ecu, I have 4 wires, Red, Black, Green, and Yeller :?:

im guessing red is power, black is ground, and with the last two one is the RPM signal and the other you'll have to attatch to some kind of "tach adapter" which is really just a resistor of some certain value.
