Mad_john gets like 50 pimp points for helpin' his bruthas out. I dun care whatcha say. I wasn't interested in the roll cage in the first place, but I gotta say Korea has a lot of stuff we all could use in our cars.

John, don't worry about it, Arctic Chill is always an asshole.
If they aren't race legal here, that won't stop folks from buying them for shows.

I still don't see why they aren't track legal. If anything, you could weld it to the frame instead of using the bolts. That's easy for a shop to do. Shouldn't cost over $50. The hardest part in making the cage is designing and building it which has already been done.

Turn to page 11. http://www.nhrasportcompact.com/2005/rules...Regulations.pdf
Looks good to me.
1. Within 6" of drivers head......check
2. Wider than drivers shoulders.......check
3. Above drivers head..........check
4. Cross brace for lateral collapse......check
5. Rear brace connecting within 5" of top of rollbar....check
6. Sidebar in required position....check
The only thing that needs to be done is weld the rear braces to the top of the main rollbar and to have 1 bar welded across the rollbar 4" below the drivers shoulders.
Bolting of the cage to the frame is ok.
For cars running 10's and lower, you can still use this setup as long as the stock body hasn't been modified.

all im saying is that the bolt in aspect of it troubles me a lot....

this is what a real boltin cage should look like... see how it cant come apart even in asevere crash
thats the one thing i would be afraid about
to anybody that gets that cage just weld in everything and u should be fine

I can get the wheel for sure soon and hopfully the roll cage in the next monthor so.
And I would ahve welded it in anyway. That should be race legal then, right? And could it be possible to be street legal as well?

Maybe they could send it in pieces that fit snuggly together and you could have it welded yourself. Should be cheaper from them since they dont need to make all those brackets.
