Well I had some free time today and I decided to do the coolant bypass mod. Well while I was at it I figured I would do something with the throttle body. After inspecting it I noticed several sharp corners and curves inside. The outside was the prettiest either. So I grabbed the dremel and went to work. Bored it out a little bit and smoothed the inside. Started off with about 80 grit and progressed to 600. Let me know what you think>>>

Kudos on the effort, it looks good, but from my limited knowledge it shouldn't make very much difference. Still the same size of butterfly valve.
It'll be sweet if you get it nice and polished smooth though.

Looks awesome. Have you considered powder coating it? Its more durable than paint and you can get some really sweet colors.

keep it polished, the money you spend on powder coat or paint could be used to buy a real BBTB

You can get some decent powder coat for under $30 and still have enough left over to do the intake manifold and any other bits of metal you can dream of.

I was thinking of painting it, but I decided I needed some polish under the hood. Theres enough plastic in there to paint so I think I will leave it as is. IM is prolly next
