a better idea would be to use a thick plastic pipe such as pvc or something similar to it as a cai pipe, my last 3 cars i had i made both short rams and cai's out of pvc and i could grab them both and both would be cool compared to my metal intakes

With the pvc pipes you eithert are sucking hot air or not having it mandrel bent so no they arent better than aem cais even if the cai is hot the air is moving through it quickly so it wont make that much of a diff alot better than sucking hot air to begin with
