2 Hours At Dealership For No Damn Reason

well i have a loud loud buzzzzzzzzzzing sound coming from my exhaust and extreme heat coming from underneath, so i call my local hyundai dealership to check out my exhaust manifold... 2 hours waiting and 0 cracks in my manifold... the leak has to be some place else.. but where??? any body got any ideas??? input??? plz???

Well look at the whole exhaust for cracks, also check the bolts

One good way to look at leaks on exhaust is looking for small black dots.... the black color is for the combustion

Ham bets its probably your flex pipe. Check there first, then look all the way around your actual exhaust piping. Check the manifold too, dealership ppl might be retards.

Yes. Check your flex pipe. That has went bad on my car 3 times now. And its annoying/loud buzzing, and puts out alot of heat.

I'd take it to a muffler shop that you trust and have them raise it and check it out for you.

when checking don't forget to start the engine before. One should be sometimes rev up the engine (like 2K) and another should listen there for where the noise is coming from.

If it's flex pipe - it should be black.

Yup, flexpipe fo' shizzle. Especially if by heat you mean coming from your shifter area. Get them to replace the manifold too, it's a recall item, for cracks.

Well my manifold was fine.. i finally got my exhaust checked out, and they said its my muffler making the sound. but it doesnt explain the heat from under the car...weird... ima go get it looked at by someone else and i'll keep u guys posted and feel free to leave some more input..

any place online i can look at some performance mufflers just in case??
