purge control solenoid?

Default purge control solenoid?

I got a cel and when i had it checked out its coming back as i need a new purge control solenoid. what in the world is that thing? where is it on the car? how expensive are they? and how hard is it to replace?

It purges the air from your evap canister. It should have 2 vacuum lines attached to it and its located on the driver side strut tower below the air filter assembly. HMASERVICE has instructions on how to manually activate it to see if it's actually faulty or not.
