i just got done putting in my sandwich adapter for my oil pressure guage. when i first start the car the guage reads 60 psi. then after it warms up it goes down to about 32psi and when i rev it up to 4000 rpms itspike to about 70 psi. my question is, is that normal or do i have something wrong? id appreciate all the help i can get

sounds normal.. once its really warmed up, what is the idle psi.. should be really low.

that sounds right.. not only do modern engines run higher pressure due to their tighter tolerances, but oil pressure is NEVER a steady psi. The faster the engine goes, the faster the gears in the pump turn, moving more oil and under more pressure.

Temperature plays a part too. Cold oil moves slower, but builds more pressure than warm

it's all good man

all you really have to watch out for is the oil light on the cluster... other than that, you'll be fine
