<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (REDZMAN)</div><div class='quotemain'>I just checked their site and am IMPRESSED.
That thing looks amazing.
Ever use the Dyno feature mang?
Did anyone see this?
Can I customize?</div>
I never did try the Dyno feature. But the scan tool and software worked great and was very easy to use. I ended up getting rid of my laptop and the scan tool though and bought the CarChip E/X. It is very impressive. If all you need to do is check codes and clear the CEL they have a tool for $79, I think.

OK, the CarChip E/X is a tiny device that plugs into the OBDII port on the car. It isn't much bigger than the port itself and sticks out about 3/4" when installed. Everytime you drive the car it logs the time and date the trip was started and stopped, the distance travelled, the average speed, the maximum speed, the time driven in different speed windows (user definable), number of hard and extreme accelerations and braking. It logs any error codes as they happen and alllows you to reset the CEL. It also allows you to select up to four different sensor readings to log from a list of about two dozen. Things like coolant temp, intake air temp, O2 voltage, etc. Anything the car has a sensor for, basically.
