Yea, it's only 10 cents cheaper than regular here too. And there's not a whole lot of stations around.
Sorry Dave, but E85 is only 105 octane on a truly 85% tank. Chances are you're getting a few points less, which makes you have to tune conservatively in case you get a bad tank. Not that it's not far better than gas.
That's why I'm just going to fork out the extra cash for E98. Several points higher for gobs more power and consistent ethanol content.

105-106..meh... Even on E70 (winter blend) I should be able to throw in at least 4 degrees extra timing over stock for a decent bump. Heck when I was helping out Alpine tune their V6 Supercharger kits we were throwing in 4 degrees on 91 octane without any detonation.
From what I can tell the price of E85 goes up and down based on how many Republicans are in your state..
