think dweets covered it all...check your plugs like he said. When it cuts out on you at 1/4 throttle and you floor it, what kinda noise does it make and whats it do exactly. I mean it the motor completely off and it bumps itself back on or does the motor stay running and just doesnt respond?

 

I had this same kind of thing happen only I got a CEL that said cyinder 4 misfire...... It was misfiring until I filled up the tank about 10 minutes later and then it went away (the misfiring not the CEL, & I put 11.75 gallons in it). This happened Monday I think and no problems since then. Been raining everyday so I havn;t pulled the plug yet but I know I am running hella rich could that cause it? I dont mean normal hyundai rich I mean big time hella rich (I think anyway).

 

the motor stays on and doesnt resond

on way home i was flooring thru 1st then in 2nd a 4k rpms cut off again

my car also stinked of gas the whole way home it was horrible

havnet messed with MAF

dont think S-afc is hooked up right(dont think any more/less gas is getting into engine cant here any change in noise

i planned on doing a MSD ignition and full exhaust
