I bet all of you wanna know what happened...

Well, turns out that the problem was with my friend's analog stopwatch. The battery died later in the evening, so we never realized that it was stopping for more than a second at a time.

For those of you mocking my friend, he's a computer scientist working at Apple. I doubt pressing a button twice would be too hard for him. Nuff said.

For those of you mocking my own abilities, keep in mind that before I had my Tiburon, I had a TRD Solara, Supercharged and Dyno verified with 320+ to the wheels. I ran mid 13s 1/4 times consistantly before I sold the car. I aim to break into the 14s on my Tiburon completely N/A. Nuff said there as well.

Turns out this was a simple mistake. My post was an attempt to get help. Not be laughed at. That being said, I'd probably wonder what the heck was going on as well.

Now that you know, I'll post an accurate time as soon as I get a chance. My thanks for those of you with anything constructive to say.

Not to rail you or anything (you just got raped and done dry by about half the forum soo), but you should have expected something wasn't right with the timing, after the first run or so you could count in your head and when you get 8 and he got 17 you'd KNOW something was wrong. This was just sort of a pointless thread to start, as you and the rest of us knew right away it was just a watch issue.

Anywho, get the real times, I'm pretty interested to see what your mods have done for you. smile.gif

Haha. No one was making fun of you man, we were just stating that it was impossible smile.gif

Sounds funny when you say you gonna break into 14s all N/A.... it's god damn easy... I hit 15.1 with only $420 worth of mods, a few more things would put me into 14s all day long smile.gif

Good luck with the car and take it to the track for god sake.

Fair enough.

There were a couple of things that were worrying me. For one, my cat is clogged and it's had the CEL since I've had the car. I wasn't sure if that maybe triggered a "limp home" mode on the ECU. I doubted it till I saw the times.

I was worried about a dead cylinder as well.

Ok..its all sorted out now. Will post accurate times later.
