Just got Rick's Apexi Exhaust installed. I'll post later about my thoughts on that.

My 220 lb friend and I decided to see what my tib can do. Im running an AEM intake, AIRRAM IM + the exhaust and I would think that would lead to decent times.

But Im serious. He timed my 0-60 at 17 seconds first time. 16 the second. Im not a bad driver so I don't understand this. He's a heavy guy but this is ridiculous.

What could be wrong?

Im running 93 octane vpower gas plus the AutoRx oil cleaner right now. That can't explain this.

After a few runs, there was a burning smell but other than that..nothing.

Someone tell me something!!

I have a 5 speed 98 Tib Base.

17 seconds????!?!?!?!?!?

There is no way. Stock tib 0-60 isaround 8 seconds.

Is your friend mentaly challenged? How did you time it.

Did you reset your ecu after all these mods were done.

You don't need 93 octane either. It is not going to help you.

Do you have huge subs or something. Even then.....17 seconds.....no way

you should be able to go 100mph in 17 seconds!!!!!!

17 seconds 0-60? You realize that 2nd gear maxes out at 60mph right, there's no way it took you 17 seconds to go through 2 gears..
hell, a stock automatic tib runs better than 17 in a 1/4.

i bet if i started out in 3rd gear i could make it 0-60 in less than 17. lmao.

Ummm...your friend's an idiot. 0-60 in 17s? A fat man could run a 100m dash faster than that.

Or he's lying about his weight, and he's really 2000lbs. That would be amazingly hilarious..
