Is there really any need to get one of these? Is it hard? What kind of gains and do you see with these, if any? Is it worth the time and money?

Thanks!

I didn't even know anyone made MSD's for tiburons. I guess there are some universal ones out there.

Unless you have severly modified your engine, it's not needed. It would be much less expensive to get somekind of engine management and advance your spark a few degrees with your current coil pack, probably same gains but with the possibility of doing other configurations. Besides, it's only noticeable if you have a ton of mods OR are turbocharged, in which case you could want that to retard spark and avoid detonation, but again, a mangement system would be a wiser choice.

Ok.. it was a topic about this a few weeks ago... but its like Zman said, its excellent only if you have Turbo, NITRO or a very serious modifications... This has a high cost ... around $400.00 on MSDIgnitons... (you can get it Less expensive on EBay) You can expend those 400 bucks in a lot other minor modifications...

The cons is there are too little pros.... 95% of people here have no use for it.

There was no gain with N/A beta2 on a dyno with MSD ignition. You will only need it if you go for some serious power.
