just got my tibby about a month ago, it never used to do this and i just noticed it the other day..
when taking off from a stop, if you take off too fast the engine hesitates at first, like the engine chops
wondering what it is...spark plug??
also, the CEL is on, I read the gas cap post and figure that that could be why it's on, but not sure (I lost my gas cap at kwik trip the other day and found a replacement one that the guy at the gas station gave me----it doesn't even click 3 times no matter how hard u turn it. lol)
oh yeah, and if anyone has a oem gas cap they don't want/use, lemme know wink1.gif.

Yup, they do it if you punch the gas too hard. Hyundai likes to program their engines RICH so there aren't any problems. If you want a PERFECT answer for it, get a SAFC>

LOL, that is the name brand and if I had to guess I would say it stands for Stand Alone Fuel Control....something like that.
Basically it is an Air/Fuel ratio controller.
