Yeah ey were the original designs from '95 or '96 I think. I've seen them, but primarily on the '96 Elantra GLS. If you look through old ads you can find them.

 

Yeah the '97 I sold to a co-worker has those rims. I've seen a few RD1's with them actually.

Secondly, what the hell were you looking for to find such monstrosities?

 

You've never heard of Ronal Bears? Do a search on them. Alot of people actually get those things. Pretty bad looking, but hilarious none the less.

 

Just get those bear rims and paint your car with a rainbow on it. Those are about as good as my neighbors $ spinners!

 

They are a OEM fit in some European countries, Holland and Belgium for definate, possibly further east into Poland.

Best OEM ones are the German deep dished ones, similar style to the ones now being fitted to many early VW/Audi cars in Europe.
