Injectors

injectors arent universal are they?
if i wanted to buy injectors would i have to buy specific ones for a tib? so no other car injectors would fit a tib?

No, injectors aren't universal. Some Ford injectors fit, you just have to make sure they are high impedance. Low impedance will cause bad things to happen.

Don't look for the injectors of Mitsubishi and Hondas.... they are different...

Also, check if it fits our OEM fuel rail....

Most mustang injectors do fit and can get them for a decent price

would used injectors be a bad idea? what i mean is do injectors go bad after a while or worn out for that matter?

Injectors do go bad. For one, they are electrical (electrical problems CAN occour, but not as likly as #2). Second, they can become clogged from dirt/impurities in the fuel.

I hate buying stuff used, especially when you can get injectors for a few hundred. But most injectors should still be good unless they are up in high mileage. Inspect before you buy however.
