Hey

the Tibby is perfectly drivable when cruising, but wasn't tune at WOT. The guy with the dyno was a friend of mine, but these days he is full of sh*t and he was pretty close of getting knock the f*ck out !!! Its good that a racing team from my city is going to open dyno shop next month. Till then I am using Perfexpert. Some of you might think its just a stupid app and was thinking the same, but I was wrong There is a lot info about it and the difference from real dyno are very slim.

So lets not talk about if the numbers are real, but comment the graph. There are 4 runs with close fuel maps.

As you can see after around 5000rpm the car falls flat on its face and when you drive it u can feel. I tried to lean it a bit, to richen it , but with no success... there was a huge power drop both times !

I'm using the cone filters right now and I think they are causing the problem. I will try without them and see if the open velocity stacks give some top end improvement

Same results with the velocity stacks...

I will try new things and hopefully there will be some better results

Those numbers look pretty darn good for a stock head (I am assuming) with ITBs. Most of that drop off is probably the length of the runners but to be honest those results are better than I expected. It looks good to me.

You could get a little more with a pnp and oversized intake valves/grind but cost vs. results won't math well.

Very cool stuff though

Thank you, but I really think that I can squeez atleast 10hp more !

Also I might try third ITB setup  I'm just not happy with all those clamps... When I have time I'll weld short runners that will let me mount the ITB.

The last result is better 13hp +

I will finally be able to use the wideband this weekend and see if I can squeeze more power

That last one is much better. I'm guessing you leaned it out a bit more? The problem with the loss of torque is due to a couple of factors. 1) Loss of intake runner length. 2) You've changed the effeciency of the engine and it probably needs more ignition timing to bring power up 3) Your AFR is not optimized.

The ITB setup is the same, didn't change anything. The funny thing is I richen it a bit through the whole powerband and as you can see it lost some torque, but gained peak horse power. This weekend I will correct the AFR using wideband.

The problem that still exists is when you drive from a stop. After I doble check the log data I found out that the MAP sensor reading is very slow?!? I mean u give gas and it doesn't read it until you're 2000rpm + and it goes crazy. Idle is around 0.32 and when when it stars reading it goes 0.50, 0.8 and so on... I'm thinking that the vacuum log might be too big ?!

Also it seems strange to me that when I drive lets say 40mph it starts to build vacuum while the throttle bodies are open at some % ?!?

Will try to make some changes and will post the results

You probably need more timing and cams for your specific setup.

Yeah it could be, but cams are not in my list for now

I just want to tune this setup properly and give it hell everyday
