Hot Inzama System
Hey guys, I've read the last couple of issues of Import Tuner. I've noticed in these issues, they've been testing the Direct Power System on their cars. I was wondering if the Hot Inzama System is similar to the Direct Power System or if there are any differences...thanks
From what I have seen of both systems they appear to do the same things.....however there is not much info on Hot Inzama System on k-specs website.....and I also have to assume people are going to start asking about the gains of such a system.....however untill someone buys and dynos one the gains are to be seen. From what I have read of other similar systems the gains will vary with what else you have done to your car .

I don't know exactly how those little boxes work but I know that it is supposed have something to do with the battery..I guess it's supposed to increase voltage by replacing the lead cables.
On the Direct power system, Import Tuner was able to get 1hp and .5lb torque on car they tested two months(It was a Toyota). On this months car, it did not show any benifits. I forgot which cars they tested them on exactly, but they stated they had seen as much as 16horse improvement on a turbo application. The Direct Power System cost around $300 and I noticed the Inzama was about $100 cheaper. I would still like to know if there are any differences.

That would be interesting to see. It sounds like it's something like a ground wire kit, or at least the same idea. I would think that there would be no difference, but cause the Direct Power kit was in a mag they might be able to get more $$$. It prolly has something to do with better wires (larger) or stronger fuses or something like that.
voltage stabilization.
In short, they are supposed to smooth out the electron flow....ie fewer spikes.....spikes that can cuase damage to electrical systems.
While dweet was half right, they really wont show much, if any PERFORMANCE gains, they do help out in other areas, as im sure you've seen stated somewhere, like headlights being brighter.....
the 16whp for that turbo app......I am guessing (you wont here that much from me, but then you guys should already know that) that the gain was because of more ACCURATE readings from sensors. That gain would also highly depend on what kind of boost controls were on the car.

wink.gif NP mang.
there was also a huge debate about them a few months ago on HP. You know, the typical Autobot telling someone else they were wrong kind of debate....hehe.
