Sup people. Very quick question.

There is this little metal piece that holds the headlight in the socket when replacing your headlight bulbs. About 3 years ago, the metal piece on my right headlight fell INSIDE of the headlight. For the past 3 years, I've been driving without it.

Does anyone know where I can purchase or find anymore of these things? I went to the dealer and they don't sell them. And I really don't want to go through the trouble of taking off the headlight for it. Junkyards usually don't have 2000-2001 tiburons ANYWHERE (at least, not in Jacksonville).

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Bend a paper clip. Seriously

Those metal clips don't come separtely from the headlamps.

Or go to a junker around your area.

Why not use a magnet or magnetic tool of some sort to try and retrieve it?

It's WAY too far down to try and get with anything magnetic.

Still have yet to use a paper clip. I'll try it out.

I missed the "it fell in part"
If the magnet doesn't work, look for the Angel Eyes DIY, and take that puppy apart, and get it. Or even do it while you make yourself a set of angel eyes. fing02.gif

I am assuming this is an RD2... The lights on an RD1 pop right you.. you guys with the later models have to remove the bumper to get at them.

If you can get the light unit out of the car.. you should just have to tilt it up and it should slide out.. if it fell in that easily.
