That's my dash that popped up over last summer. Went to Hyundai, they want me to buy a new dash, screw that. I'm thinking about taking it to an Upholstery shop to see if they can fix it. But before I do that, is there a way to fix it myself? I've tried to push it back down. Nothing has worked.

dejavu! same spot, same crap, happened to me. i don't know when or how to fix it, but the same thing happened to my car. i'm probably gonna rip out another dash from a wrecked tib later. that's if i can find one though. owned.gif

I would try the strongest contact adhesive I could get my hands on & then put plenty of weight on that spot while the adhesive does its job. I'd prolly leave it overnight with the weight on it too.

That's just me though...

you've got to take the dash out i think. use redz diy. shouldn't be too hard to stick back in when you've opened it all up.

the quality on these cars is crap haha... nice crap though haha.

Wow, that same thing in the same spot happened on my '97 kia sephia. I used some double sided tape and a few text books and it seemed to hold pretty well.
