I bought a glass packed and louvered core muffle, which goes between the cat and main rear muffler.

Anyone knows the direction of the muffler?

It looks like this when you see from one side.

The other side loooks this.

Which direction is correct?

Please let me know~!

Thank you

the way it is now, is the way it should be, exhaust gases will enter to the side where you cant see the holes.

of course you realise that you bought the worst glasspack for exhaust flow, right? IF you look carefully down the length of the exhaust path.. that 2 1/2 or 2/14 inch tube is actually a LOT smaller thanks to the louvers. Also, they tend to swirl the exhaust and create eddies... makes for LOTS of backpressure.

My muffler shop installed the muffler backwards!!!

exhaust gasese enters to the side where you CAN see the holes!!!

Should I go to the shop and tell them to fix it? Or Can I just leave it like that?

Please tell me what to do~!!

you should take that junk resonator off and get yourself a thrush turbo

uses a perforated core instead of louvers

costs about 25 or so

ayup.. perforated is the better glasspack.. nothing sticks out into the exhaust flow

it does both

exhaust flows right through with nothing to catch it and the sound waves will be absorbed into the perforations
