Gas door lever rusty
How easy is it to replace the gas door lever cable? Mine is a bit rusty from water getting under the carpet, and its really hard to lift the lever to open the door. In fact it seems to be almost fused with the hatch lever because I have to lift both when filling up with gas or else the fuel door wont open at all.
Actually now that I think about it I dont know if its the lever itself or the cable. I assume I can just pull the carpet back and the whole mechanism is right there correct?

It may not be the cable at all, on mine the two levers were so rusted they were fused together. I had to take out the seat peal back the carpet and take out the lever assembly (only one screw holding it). I drilled out the bolt holding the gas and back hatch lever and put a new bolt through them, works perfectly now. Just keep it well greased after that.
