I'd get a timing gun and check the plugs and wires for spark. My wires looked good but when cyl. 4 was misfiring, but after changing plugs(they needed it, BAD), I found the wires needed changing too. Moral: Don't just go on looks, check. That and take a lot of advice in from this site, many of these posts and replies have helped me a great deal.

I don't have any CEL, and I will check later on in the day if I have any codes.

The wires look new, I'll probably change them with the plugs anyway, just to eliminate them from the problem.

I have to check exactly where the exhaust is leaking, could be from the flex as well, I could just hear the leak closer to the front of the car.

I'll give you guys/gals an update when I manage to take care of these tasks...Thanks for all the help fing02.gif</div>

We don't have a distributor with rotor, we have coil packs.

The RD's have a issue with the mainfold cracking between the runners at the junction. easy way to find out is to take off the ugly ass heat shield that is on top of the manifold and look. If you see a crack, you know where at least ONE leak is.

I'm just saying, you are misfiring and you have an exhaust leak. Both of those are code material. You should have a code.

also, the exhaust manifold can throw off your o2 sensor reading and cause air/fuel issues.

Yep, your probably right!

As for the CEL itself, it does work, comes up every time I turn the key to the on position.

Still gotta get those plugs and wires out of the way.

Thanks again everyone!

that one will work. You can use any TPS as long as it's not Dae Sung.

That looks like the kefico I believe.

As far as getting one for cheap, if you have a junkyard that carries tibbies then see if you can go get one from there. They are like $5.

If you're like me and don't have a junkyard with tibbies, then put up a Want to buy, in the wanted section of the classifieds and you can get one there. I got mine from REDZMAN for $10 shipped to my door.

Don't I run the chance of having to replace it sooner with a junkyard TPS than with a new one?
