faulty alternator?
Sittin in the Mcdonalds drive through line, then I put my window up and when I hit the button the car start idling rough around 700 and my interior/exterior lights dim.
My battery is 690 amps I believe, and I've never replaced or tuned up the alternator so I have no idea what condition its in.

if the lights and idle returned to normal after you let go of the switch.. I would not worry about it too much. Even when new, if I moved the windows at idle, you could watch the lights dim at night. Electric windows are just a BIG draw on power and at idle your alternator is not putting out all the juice if can.

yah anytime something has to be moved and it is powered by an electric motor it draws a good amount of electricity; and the windows arent feathers so it takes even more.. Does the Big three wire upgrade help reduce this dimming effect?
another thing to remember.. the fact that your engine idle dropped like that was a sign your alternator was working properly. It was trying to keep up with the electrical demand and was putting quite a drag on the engine.
