Hey all since a recent trip to another province ( Of excessive speed ) My car started squeaking alot. It sounds like it's in assesory belt area or something. Does anyone have this problem? Anyone know of a quick fix? Like wd40 or something?

Lol.. Its probably the power steering pump bearing.. I just give mine a squirt of lithium grease every so often, just shoot it direct @ the bearing side w/ the engine on and itll stop it for a short time.. Ive gone about 2-3 weeks right now w/out mine being mad @ me laugh.gif And ya, it usualy comes back after high speed, but for some reason mine hasnt..

no wd-40!!!!

with spray, you cant control where it goes, and you would prolly just end up hitting the belt. you might need belts.

make sure not to get the lithium grease on anything rubber(ie)your belt) rubber soaks it up and swells causing it to buldge and become mis-shapen.

It started around 45,000 miles on my car.. Some people are changing the bearing on it, some are buying new pumps.. Im too cheap to do either, so $3 dollar can of grease works for me..

Noppers .. I just bought the car about 2 weeks ago... Could that be cause the sqeak? When you say timing belt do you mean the belt that turns the powersteering and such? I though that was called an accessory belt ... :S... ME = noob ...

Get the whole car inspected.
