Same here. Thats why I've been holding off on replacing it. I may have to try the bang the shit out of it aproatch this weekend.

hey... I have done it... twice. both times when welding some rusty panal on one of my ancient cars (one vdub and one fiat).. I also lost my eyebrows and some of my hair in the front when I made the mistake of looking down the throat of a webber carb when the car was idling poorly...
