Custom Intake Manifold.
#1
ok, i was talking about this with the rdt god earlier today, and i cant find the information, post, or the site anywhere.. it was posted a while ago, and it was a universal aftermarket intake manifold, that had just the plenum and runners setup, and you just had to weld on a flange for the head, and a flange for the TB.
can anyone help me out here. am i just dreaming of this? or is there actually a product like it, lol. i think that would be our best bet now to an aftermarket manifold..

thats sooo sweet.. see thats what we need. if people are going to make custom IMs, just buy those parts, and fab them together.. really wouldnt be that hard.
prefabbed plenums with vacuum ports, mustang TB adapters, velocity stacks, and then somr short straight runners for the boost guys..
fuel rail ~11-12$
injector bungs ~24$
oval runner tubing ~20$ (1.3 feet) plenty for boost guys
velocity stacks ~160$ (oval stacks)
plenum ~40-50$
pre tapped end cap ~30$
TB flange ~40$
custom IM flange could be done by a machinist for less than 80$
and then welding and some fabbing, should be under 500$ and sll those parts look pretty damned high quality.
those velocity stacks are freakin SEXY.
would be a lot better doing it this way, than bothering with getting a 100k machine to cast em or w/e.
