intresting mod. dont know if i would personally mess with it only because its not huge change. but i'm intrested to see what all is needed to complete a project like this.

Any updates on modding the GK console to fit in a RD? Used to have a GK and it was a nice center console, wouldn't mind modding it to fit into my RD1.
