Went and had my car checked at autozone. The guy said that I had code p0422, catalytic converter bank 1 sensor low. What causes this and how can I fix it? I got this problem about a week after I got my exhaust installed. To install the new exhaust the guy gutted my manifold cat and put a magnaflow cat downstream of that under the car before the resonator. This didn't happen until a week after I got the exhaust. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks tons in advance.

 

same thing happened to me. It'll probably go away. It was after I installed CAI... happened about 1 week later.

Why did he gut your manifold cat? There was no reason and that is illegal to do. Did he re-locate any of your O2 sensors? If he did not, that is the reason your CEL is on, because the second O2 sensor is reading the same as your first. The second O2 sensor needs to be placed behind the new cat.
