I'm not too sure how to describe the sound, but everytime i turn my wheel right, even slightly, it makes a sort of rumbling noise. Sort of if you were to go over a rumble strip on the shoulder. Everything appears to be alright, so I'm not really sure what it is or what it could be. Any ideas?

probly a wheel bearing or a CV joint. It's something that rotates for sure. Would you describe it as a clicking, or a gnashing trashing grinding sound which gets worse with speed or turning. A clicking would be a CV joint, anything else would probly be a bearing.

axle, wheel bearing, cv joint. just get your axle replaced and that's that.

dtn is right, if its a clicking its one of the cv joints, either inner or outer. You can get an axle to replace both for like $60-80 depending on what auto stores you have.

yea its more of a rough grinding sound, no clicking. it does get worse the harder i turn right, so im guessing it would be the bearing then?

Most likely a wheel bearing then.

Same exact thing is happening to me right now. I'm getting it replaced in a day or so. Not to good to drive with it like that. If I get up to 80 kph + it starts to vibrate also.

If its like a knocking noise when you turn one way and not the other its more than likely the outter boot on one of the cv joints is broken and the greece has escaped and is causing the bearings to go bad. Turn your wheel all the way to the direction of the noise and examine the outter cup boot. You will indeed find a large slit/hole in it.

does it do it when you do a dry turn??? (turn the wheel while at a stop) cause this would eliminate the wheel bearing. check that first before we jump to conclusions
