Hey, I've searched the web for a while now for an OEM 2001 Tiburon carbon fiber hood, and I found one, but they called back and said they don't have them in...Anyone that has an oem hood want to tell me where you got it from? lol..

I saw some on ebay. I havent heard of any issues regarding fitment on those hoods from ebay. The sellers guarentee they fit so if they dont you could always get your money back.

I'm looking at the C-Wings OEM hood, and it isnt showing any detail...

I've tried to call C-Wings a ton of times, and stopped by twice since they moved buildings, and I still cant get any good info about the hoods. I know I've test fit 2 of them on my RD1 a year or two back. They look like the best products for RDs in Carbon period. Only problem is my service from the manufacturer. But thats what I do, and I'll keep on it till I get the good info and prices. I also want to test fit the flared OEM hood for the RD2.

Thats so damn funny. The picture of a tiburon you see there, not only is it not the C-Wings hood with a flared lip (which I have two of ready to ship) But its MY FRIGGIN TIBURON pictured there. Back when it had gay red graphics on the side of it. I've been working on that same car all morning, lol.

I dont think there are very good pics of the flared hood anywhere? I'll go test fit it and take better ones.

 

The oem flared hood fits perfect from c-wings (gtp) (importfan.com) as most here now it was my hood that created that one they kept my car for a year and a half to copy the pieces and make them. Last time i talked to them they werent planning on making any of these pieces do to demand and popularity. The More popular cars are geting the attention right now. Wish i had some better answers for you. There was c-west wings hood on ebay a few weeks ago that did not sale. Not sure if they reposted ill check. If its still for sale would be a good buy theres only a few of these hoods that were made.

Also i have plenty of pics of the hood its in my garage...lol
