I didnt want to find out what can give me hp just so I can burnout. I dont do it all the time either. I think we've pretty much covered what I can do before I get a turbo.

im going to move this to general performance. power adders cover the realm of boosting via mechanical or chemical ways, as well as other things far more complicated, and it doesnt look like you want to go this route for now.

1st thing you should do is auto>manual swap.

Yeah, a auto tibby feels like a auto escort. It dosn't want to give the power it has throughout it's band. It kinda does what it wants to. It shifts too low and takes it's time doing so.

Auto = teh suxor. Manual = uber mega ultra super duper spiffy cool shifting from 1st to 2nd burnouts.

I like an occasional burnout. I bought 60,000K Yokohama performance rated tires for $650 so i can do burnouts and get money back on each and every one of them wink1.gif

I think he meant they last for that long. Please dont peel out on the street. But IDK how you cant really do you hold the brake and the gas and let off the break? I have azenis and they usually wont squeek, but with my cooper zeons tw: 280 they would. Sometimes they would spin some sometimes just break traction. You dont want noise like that from your tires = your not haveing as much traction. 100 shot nitrous should be able to keep them spinnng for a long time if you have regular performance tires.

Honestly, think of the manual swap as another bolt on..

Putting a 5 speed in your tib would drop your 1/4 time by 1-1.5 seconds easily, while adding a CAI, Headers, Exhaust, BBTB, etc.....will do about the same.

So you may as well just swap to a 5 speed in the first place, that's my logic.

Plus, your auto tranny is going to get owned.gif under boost...

three words.....
FIVE
SPEED
SWAP

Ya man, if you want to have more fun like spinning the tires, you NEED to swap to manual. Better 1/4 times and more fun all around.

no, they're rated at 60,000 miles so if they need to be replaced at 5,000 miles you divide the cost of the tires by 1/12th of the life of the tire and that's what I pay to get new ones.

um.. pro rated is the word.

Would that make chlorine gas?
