Uhm, no, they are both equal on sucking up water, the suction does that, not the intake.

Also, the INJEN is much harder to install.

I can't find it. All I have found are AOS or AEM clones.

Default Re: Is this short shifter worth buying?

I purchased a BOMZ CAI, which is an Injen copy, on ebay. It includes hoses. For $60 shipped I figued it was worth a shot. I definitely can't afford AEM. Especially with all the other things that need doing on my new used Tib.

This is the seller I bought from: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...7931648648&rd=1

Maybe the installation of this will make up for my soon-to-be-downgraded exhaust. I'm planning on getting a Dynomax Super Turbo to replace the all-welded SS perforated muffler on now. I wonder if my mpg will go down, as I think the straight exhaust might be why I'm getting 35mpg highway, which I find amazing. Also amazing is how it can make any cop that passes immediately turn around to pull me over...

I looked through my old emails and couldn't find out specifically who I bought it from...I think it was someone who went by Blackvortex on ebay..I might be mistaken..

Anyone can afford an AEM, it's called SAVING the money up for it.

That one looks like an AEM clone with the INJEN elbow.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=38634

So's that one.

Didn't look real hard did you?

Redz, I think Tib97 wanted to buy the intake on ebay that you have to move the battery and enlarge the hole underneath to put the filter in. I was trying to help him find out who made it but I don't remember exactly who it was.

Yes I was talking about the intake that Madmachine has, where you have to relocate the battery. Thanks for the comments Red.

well like I said I haven't install the aem and the injen knock off was a sinch.

as far as sucking up water all I was saying was that I believe the aem hangs lower. thereby making it more prone to suck up water, I wasn't saying that somehow they got water differently. laugh.gif
