Airbag Light Is On
Well, it's now been 12 days. The light is still on, and brighter and more annoying than ever. I think I might just pull out the bulb until I can get some spare money to get it turned off. I called hyundai, and naturally they tried to get me on a $85 scan or whatever it was, and $60 to turn the light off
"Can't you just turn the light off for $60?"
"....Yeah, but if there's something actually wrong, the light will go right back on and then you just wasted $60."
"But you can turn it off?"
"...Yea....."
So he tried to pull more money from my wallet.

My airbag light has been on for almost a year. As far as I've read, it will not turn off until the dealership turns it off, and I really don't care that much. Pull the bulb out if it bothers you, but as long as nothing is actually wrong with the airbag system, the bags should still deploy even with the light on.
Or do what my girlfriend does with her CEL, and put electrical tape over it.

Fuse 1 is easier to get to, plus if you ever decide to turn it off for $60, it will come back on until you replace the bulb. Dang, they charge alot there. At my dealership it is $60 for a hiscan. The technician comes out with the hiscan, reads codes, will tell you a bit about your car, and shut off the light.
Heres my DIY to fix that problem.
1. get two short wires and strip each side
2. put them into a 110v outlet
3. touch them to bulb
4. no more light
i hate air bags anyway and have the full set out of my rd2. if it turns out you need a air bag computer or anything let me know.
also, its better for the light to blow up than to take it out because if someone decides to look theyll just think it blew
