I just picked up a wrecked 2000 Silver Tib with a RDTiburon.com sticker on the hatch
in northern Kentucky today.
I am doing a 5 speed swap on my auto and needed a doner car.
I was wondering if the owner was still on here!
It has front end damage, 17" rims, RD sticker on hatch, red push button switch on shifter ball.
I was really wondering if the tranny was any good and anything else you know about it!

I'm thinking of a member we had who posted pics of himself, and members got into his unprotected photobucket and found revealing pictures of him and his g/f. That's one of the few KY owners I remember, besides Red and Supercow

They are delivering it to the house tomorrow on a flat bed.
Maybe I can do another DIY on the swap if you think it would
help anybody out and all goes well.

It was cool to see the sticker on the back hatch when he showed it to me today.

 

JH~Tibby is who I was thinking of, but he sold his car in 2007. I don't know what color his tib was.

 

i don't recall. carfaxing the vin would help a tiny bit though.

Just thought the giant RDTiburon.com banner must be an old schooler on here and
thought they would like to know their poor tib is being put to good use as a donor car!
I don't post much but I have learned everything I know about the car on here. It's a great
bunch of people with some very helpful info. Gonna tackle the 5 speed swap soon and I feel
it's going to be no problem with the DIY and tips I got from here.

 

not mine never had a silver one. lol all but 2 of mine were eventually crushed, after the were completely bare of course.
the style of the sticker would probably help find an active time of the member tho.
