1.8 and 2.9s are the same block so yess it will fit fine. if your still looking by spring i'll sell you mine laugh.gif

as for a rear wiper, why would you want one? they aren't the most purposful item you could put on your car especialy for the money or time it will take.

the easiest way would be to find a complete hatch with the rear wiper already on it but the other option would be to go buy the reat wiper assembly, motor, linkage and harness from your local dealer which will run you more them likely close to $500 bucks.
