Default 1.8l on intake?

intake is the same for the 1.8 and the 2.0. they stand for the displacement of your engine.. The beta came in 1.6 (europe only I think) 1.8 (early tibs and base models until 98) and the 2.0 (fX, SE and 99 and beyond)

Yeah I have a 2.0L and my intake said 1.8L when I took it off. I think Hyundai just didn;t feel like making a larger one for the larger engine. Lazy asses!
