the downpipe did NOT come w/ a threaded plug.

i would probably have to have whoever puts a bung in the header also install the header itself since i would have to have them put a bung in the midpipe also. i'm currently talking to a co-worker who says his brother owns a shop that could do this.

meineke has crossed my mind as a last resort...

i'm gonna probably wait til after i get my car inspected before i install the header. my inspection is due in july...and if you guys don't know, Massachusetts is very strict when it comes to emissions. if the CEL is on, they'll reject you. i'm kinda nervous w/ the taking out of the #1 cat. that would probably cause a failure in emissions. so i'll prolly wait til after i get it inspected.

Most cars only have one cat.I have no idea why Hyundai did 2????? I haven't had my emissions yet, but I'm confident it'll pass.
