Yes,you would have to make the wires for 02 #1 longer, which is no problem. If you do not have an aftyermarket cat back right now, then you will continue using #2 02 in it's factory placement. So, you still have both 02 sensors connected,1 in front and 1 to the rear of #2 cat. This is what you need.

I don't think it matters if #1 02 is in the header pipe or it's in the flex pipe.Logically, it's still the same place since you will no longer have #1 cat.

No, you just need one before the cat (in the downpipe) and one after the cat (in the catback...which is probably where your second one is already).
This tests the air before hitting the cat and then after the cat to make sure the cat is doing its job of burning excess gasses off before emitting into the air. You are fine the way you are.....unless there is no bung in the catback. I would also suggest getting a high flow cat installed to so you don't have any trouble with emissions (if you have it) or airflow restriction.

I told you...

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (REDZMAN)</div><div class='quotemain'>You are gonna need a second Bung man, in that picture at the top there is only one.</div>

MADTIB, are you crazy? There's not Bung in the Flexpipe, it's impossible.

The flexpipe is the little section about 6 inches long that FLEXES, made of steel mesh.

Yeah,I know. And right after that flex section there is rigid pipe. The bung is in that.I said flex, cause it's all that piece.Maybe I should have said down pipe?

personally i think you all are confusing each other with all this. ok.... in conclusion.... without the first O2 sensor... we get CEL... without second O2 sensor.... we get CEL....

solution.... have someone drill a hole in your #4 pipe on the header and have a muffler shop weld in a bung.... get one at autozone or some place that is the same one for our cars... make sure you plug in both O2 sensors and walah or somethin.... no CEL

Also,02 bungs and sensors are universal.

All I'm saying is,if the #4 header pipe doesn't have an 02 bung made, don't worry about having one put there. The DOWN PIPE has an 02 bung, that you can use for the #1 sensor. This will work sense you will no longer have #1 cat installed. But, you have to make the wires longer so it'll reach. This takes care of 02 #1.......

If you are keeping the factory cat back, then leave the #2 sensor alone!! If you are installing a performance cat back, then you'll need an 02 bung made in the inlet of the cat back pipe. You will again need to lengthen the wires for the #2 sensor. That takes care of 02 #2
