What transmission did the WRC Accents have in them? They were AWD, correct?

iirc most ran Xtrac AMTs, but some if recollection serves use Getrag and Quaife.





Cant vouch for the rest, but a Quaife (new) will command $10,000 on the low side but include custom fitment for the project.

Defo 4wd, theres still a few used in national championships. google rallycars for sale and one pops up now and then.

Full time four wheel drive. The front and center differentials are electronically controlled. Mechanical, self-locking rear differential. 50%-50% F-R torque distribution.



Six speed X-Trac non synchronized, sequential shift gear box longitudinally mounted. Carbon triple plate clutch, Ø140mm.

High ratio rack and pinion, power assisted steering.
